USA, ca. 1950s. A rare set of six early dining chairs by Vladimir Kagan for his New York furniture company Kagan-Dreyfuss. Set includes two model VK 104 armchairs and four model VK 103 side chairs. Each features a sculptural solid walnut frame with upholstered shield-shaped back and seat. Comfortable, graceful, and organic, these chairs demonstrate Kagan’s innovative and distinctive approach to furniture design. Each with branded mark to underside.

Wood frames have been professionally refinished and are in beautiful condition. Fabric is original and ready for replacement. Price includes labor for new upholstery with fresh foam – client provides 9 yards of approved material.
