Antique Wabi Sabi Vase in Wood, Europe 1900s. This wonderful antique Wabi Sabi vase was made completely in wood. It has a basic rounded shape, with an outwards pointing bottle neck. The thin edge of the neck is a subtle detail, as well as several decorative rings on the surface of the vase. Two copper nails can be seen in the top part, used as a repair method many decades ago. The vase also shows a repaired crack, a sign of age that shows the unforgiving test of time. Combined with the overall patina, it emphasizes the perfect imperfect character of this authentic vase.
