Pair of glass candy jars from early 20th-century France. Mounted on curled iron stands and topped with charming, conical brass lids with egg-shaped finial handles, the pair of vessels was once used for the storage and display of candy in a commercial setting. Their curvy, bulbous form adds to the playfulness of their design. These work well as decorative objects in their own right, though they would also be fabulous in a pantry setting as a functional and decorative object.
See photos for damage and condition of patina. They measure 9″ X 9″ X 20″.
