Ceramic vase designed by Aldo CIBIC for IGEA. ORIGIN Italy PERIOD 1980s DESIGNER Aldo CIBIC born in Schio in 1955, very young, in 1978, he moved to Milan where he began to attend Ettore Sottssas’ studies. In 1980 he became part of ‘Sottssas Associati’ and subsequently of the ‘Menphis’ group. In the 1980s he collaborated with the ‘Alessi’ company, creating some projects for the Tendentse line. At the end of the 1980s he founded the design studio ‘Cibic&Partners’. Subsequently he also began to deal with teaching and was awarded the position of Honorary Professor at Tongji University in Shanghai.
