Antique French Vernis Martin Painted Marble Top & Bronze Chest Cabinet

Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this gorgeous Antique French Marble Top Cabinet. Early 20th century made beauty, made of mahogany in Louis XV style. Main features are paintings in Vernis Martin style, a large one in the middle showing a romantic courting figural scene, flanked by two serene landscapes on each side, please see the photos, they are beyond pleasant. Chest has a single door, with a key and a functioning lock. The entire piece is dressed down with fine quality bronze mounts. It stands on four tall Louis XV curved legs, also adorned with bronze mounts. The top of the piece features a great white to gray marble, which makes it able to function as a server, console, or commode. Inside of the door is a single shelf, dividing the interior in two storage sections. Cabinet is in good condition, showing light age / use wear for 100+ years of age (please see photos). Size is great for any room, house or an apartment at 35.5″ wide, 32″ tall, and 17.5″ deep. This will be a great addition to any setting, traditional or mid-century modern!
