Vintage creative kokeshi crafted by Sato Kouson (Komura).

Sato Kouson was one of the few female creative Kokeshi makers recognized as a skilled artist in Japan.
This kokeshi features a soft and friendly face, typical of all her dolls. The doll is adorned with a red accent featuring a sakura motif. A rare kokeshi highly sought after by collectors and a unique decorative piece.
The bottom is signed with the artist’s signature.
