This polychrome 17th century Delft framed tile depicts a large kingfisher bird on fruit. The tile was made in the Dutch city of Harlingen around 1640. It is decorated with large ‘ox-head’ corner motifs and in a very pure condition. Note that it has some chips across the surface.
