The upper cornice has been carved with cavetto molding, an architectural feature sometimes referred to as an “Egyptian cornice”. Just below the cornice is a raised quarter round ledge, which compliments the ogee-shaped molding above. Three evenly spaced spouts protrude from the center of iron floret backplates. At the point where the back wall meets the basin stones, there are deeply canted sides, once again mirroring the cornice molding. 11 capstones, embellished with thick protruding molding, top the seven stones that make up the side and front wall of the basin, which have a bottom molding similar to the capstones. The long and low form of this three-spout wall fountain, combined with its straight lines, allows it to be used in any contemporary or traditional landscape design.
The estimated fountain weight is close to 8,000 lbs.
